<p>With its alpine orientation, the Vertex Alpine GTX trail running shoe from Arcteryx offers you a number of advantages for your longer-running projects with plenty of elevation gain. The lightweight mountain running shoe skillfully combines robustness, protection, comfort and grip - and is lightweight too.</p> <p>Thanks to the waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex&reg; membrane, the "GTX" version is ideal in chilly temperatures or corresponding altitudes and in wet and cold conditions in winter.</p> <p>The single-layer mesh upper is made from 100% recycled polyester and offers all the usual benefits: fast-drying, flexible, durable and breathable, the upper optimally supports the functionality of the membrane. The last point is helped by targeted reinforcements on the heel and toe cap and in the form of a TPU film for excellent abrasion protection.</p> <p>A comfortable fit, the balanced, powerful cushioning of the midsole and a cleverly designed lacing system ensure that you can still wear the Vertex Alpine GTX comfortably even after many kilometers and adjust it well on the go.</p> <p>The non-slip and abrasion-resistant Vibram Megagrip tread sole is beyond reproach and will keep you moving efficiently and safely. Thanks to the flat profile in the toe area, the shoe also has excellent grip on rocky terrain.</p> <p>Arcteryx products are only sold in retail quantities.
