<p>The Ultra Belt from Ultimate Direction is probably the excellent alternative to a running vest. Thanks to the bum bag, you can keep your back free, which is a blessing on warm, sweaty days. Furthermore, you can store everything you need for long trail runs (and even short ultras) in it. <p>Thanks to the two 500 ml soft flasks included, you'll always stay excellently hydrated and they are evenly positioned so that nothing slips or bounces. The fit is one of the Ultra Belt's great strengths anyway. You fix it in place with the Velcro strap and its shape means it has an excellent fit without developing a life of its own.</p> <p <p>The small pocket between the water bottles is made from enough space to store your cell phone, a snack and even a small windbreaker.
