Elixir 2 Tent

The MSR Elixir 2 is a proven classic for trekking tours and weekend adventures where comfort and functionality are paramount. With its revised design for 2026, the tent offers even more space, improved materials and smart features that make camping life easier. The freestanding geometry with color-coded aluminum poles makes pitching quick and intuitive - even in windy conditions or at dusk. Inside, two 63 cm wide sleeping mats fit comfortably next to each other without restricting each other. The high ceiling ensures comfortable freedom of movement when changing or relaxing. The tent interior is a balanced mix of breathable mesh and opaque fabric - ideal for privacy, a good indoor climate and effective thermal insulation. Two generous StayDry™ doors with integrated rain gutters allow easy access for both people and prevent water from entering. The two spacious vestibules offer plenty of storage space for rucksacks, shoes or cooking equipment. The coated outer tent made of robust ripstop polyester (1500 mm water column) provides reliable weather protection, while the floor with 3000 mm PU coating keeps the tent waterproof even in persistent rain. The new, solution-dyed material reduces the carbon footprint and increases the UV resistance of the fabric - a plus for the environment and durability. Well thought-out details such as a generous inner storage area under the tent roof, cable ducts in the inner pockets and reflective guy points make the Elixir 2 a reliable companion on tour. A matching footprint groundsheet is already included in the scope of delivery and reliably protects the tent floor from abrasion.
