Whistleblower

Employees in the company or external service providers are often the first to recognise irregularities and can use their information to ensure that legal violations are uncovered, investigated, prosecuted and prevented. Whistleblowers assume responsibility for the company and therefore deserve protection against the threat of discrimination because of their report, which can deter them from doing so.

We investigate all reports of compliance violations carefully and confidentially.

The aim of the HinSchG is to protect persons who have obtained information about violations in the course of their professional/service activities and report them. The HinSchG prohibits any reprisals against whistleblowers.

The law sets content requirements for a report: A report must contain information about offences that are punishable by criminal or administrative fines or that violate other national and EU-wide regulations or run counter to their objectives. Reporting cases are standardised in § 2 of the HinSchG.

Please note that reports without a violation/compliance reference will not be processed.

The report can be made verbally or in text form. In addition, the person making the report must be given the opportunity to meet in person with the authorised person from the internal reporting office.

If you wish to make a report, please contact us by e-mail.
