<p>The Powstar jacket from The North Face is designed for demanding skiers who need reliable protection and comfort on alpine routes. The helmet-compatible and individually adjustable hood ensures optimum protection even in changing weather conditions.</p> <p>The jacket is made from a waterproof and breathable DRYVENT&trade; 2-layer material and provides effective protection from the wet. The water-repellent DWR finish adds to the weather protection and reliably keeps out light snowfall and splashing water. Additional comfort is provided by the elasticated inner cuffs with thumb loops and the integrated snow guard with silicone band, which prevents snow from getting in at the waist.</p> <p>Inside the jacket, the innovative HEATSEEKER&trade; insulation ensures a high level of warmth at a low weight. This technology makes the jacket particularly compressible and durable, making it ideal for long days in the backcountry. In addition, several practical pockets offer plenty of storage space for important items.</p>
