<p class="" data-start="410" data-end="691">The Summit Extra LW Climb gloves from The North Face have been specially developed for demanding climbs and technical ascents. They combine a precise fit, sensitive handling and durable materials - ideal for routes where every detail counts.</p> <p class="" data-start="693" data-end="1152">The wind-repellent material on the back of the hand protects against cold draughts, while the brushed, bonded inside ensures soft comfort. An insert made from imitation neoprene increases mobility and ensures a comfortable fit to the shape of the hand. The palm and fingertips are reinforced with supple goatskin - for reliable grip and high abrasion resistance when handling ropes, ice tools or carabiners.</p> <p class="" data-start="1154" data-end="1536">The progressive Precurve construction creates a natural finger position and reduces fatigue on long routes. A fastener straps on the wrist ensures a secure fit, while a robust pull-on loop and a carabiner loop on the ring finger facilitate handling at the belay station. A nose wiper on the thumb completes the cleverly designed details for use at height.</p> <p class="" data-start="1538" data-end="1685">The materials used are largely made from recycled polyester - functional, environmentally friendly and made for ambitious mountaineers.</p>
