It combines the thermal performance of high-quality goose down with great weather protection - for use at high altitudes and in changing winter weather conditions.</p> <p data-start="901" data-end="1212">Filled with RDS-certified 800 cuin goose down, the Optical jacket offers outstanding insulation values while remaining lightweight. The down is treated with a water-repellent Nikwax&reg; water-repellency treatment, which ensures reliable warmth even in high humidity or wet snow.</p> <p data-start="1214" data-end="1616">The outer material is made from Pertex&reg; Shield Revolve - a waterproof, breathable 3-layer laminate. This makes the jacket completely weatherproof. The welded chambers prevent cold bridges, keep the down securely in place and ensure even heat distribution.</p> <p data-start="1618" data-end="1947">Functional details such as a helmet-compatible hood, ventilated underarm zippers, adjustable cuffs and a 2-way front zip with wind protection cover make the jacket fit for alpine use.
