<p data-start="456" data-end="797">The Helium Down Shorts from Peak Performance have been developed to provide targeted warmth where it is needed most during sport or rest periods. As an insulating mid-layer over tights or base layers, they offer optimum thermal comfort with a focus on freedom of movement and functionality.</p> <p data-start="799" data-end="1121">Filled with a high-quality blend of 90 % duck down and 10 % feathers with a fill power of 700 cuin, the shorts provide efficient insulation with minimal weight. The outer material made from recycled polyamide is lightweight, robust and wind-repellent. A PFC-free water-repellent finish provides additional protection against moisture.</p> <p data-start="1123" data-end="1496">Cleverly designed details such as a stretch hem, open hand warmer pockets and a back pocket offer comfort and functionality. Practical: the shorts can be opened completely via side zippers - ideal for quick taking on and off in the field or in changing conditions. A hanging loop on the outside of the waistband also makes them easy to dry or hang up.</p> <p data-start="1498" data-end="1731">With their low weight of just 250 g and compact pack size, the Helium Down Shorts are ideal for ski touring, bivouacs, expeditions or simply as an additional warmth buffer on cold days.</p>
