Description

<p>The Ortovox Alu 280 avalanche probe combines light weight, high stability, and ease of use for ski touring, freeriding, and alpine terrain. Made from durable 7075 T6 aluminum, it delivers reliable performance during avalanche rescue operations.</p> <p>Thanks to the proven PFA quick-release system and the steel cable pull system, the probe is ready for use in just a few seconds. The depth mark at 1.5 m and the visual guidance system make it easy to precisely determine the depth of a buried victim. A voluminous probe tip further supports precise work in the snow. With a packed length of 44 cm, the probe is excellent for storage, while its certification according to UIAA Standard 157 confirms its suitability as an avalanche rescue probe. A lightweight probe sleeve is included in the delivery.</p>
