<p>The Montane Kamen Hooded Jacket is a high-quality insulated jacket designed for alpine use in cold and demanding environments. It offers plenty of room for additional layers and is ideal for mountain routes, technical climbs, and expeditions.</p> <p>The outer material is a lightweight Pertex® Quantum Diamond Fuse ripstop fabric. The insulation consists of warm goose down, supplemented by Primaloft® Gold Active synthetic textiles in high-wear areas such as the shoulders and collar. The jacket’s special chamber construction is designed to trap heat as efficiently as possible against the body. The helmet-compatible hood, self-sealing cuffs, and insulated front placket provide additional weather protection and heat retention.</p> <p>In practical use, the jacket impresses with its mountain-specific features, including backpack- and climbing harness-compatible pockets, as well as its lightweight design. It is particularly well-suited for demanding mountaineering and climbing tours, ski touring, and expeditions.</p>
