<p>The Tasman GTX from Meindl is a high-performance trekking and mountain boot for demanding alpine activities. Despite its robust construction, it impresses with its comparatively low weight and high stability - ideal for technically demanding tours in the mountains. Thanks to the integrated spoiler, the boot is conditionally crampon-compatible for combination crampons.</p> <p>The durable polyamide upper ensures low weight and high durability. A hand-applied rubber toe with lateral TPU protection increases durability in the toe area. The waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex&reg; membrane reliably protects against moisture and keeps your feet dry even in changeable weather conditions.</p> <p>For additional stability in alpine terrain, the boot has integrated ankle protectors and an anatomically shaped ankle stabilizer. The 2-zone lacing, which is pulled far forward and has an elastic strap construction, enables a precise fit and ensures a secure hold.</p> <p>The Meindl Multigrip&reg; Alpine outsole from Vibram&reg; offers excellent traction on a wide variety of terrain. A climbing zone in the forefoot area for a precise approach on rocks is of course a must. The open lug profile supports good self-cleaning when walking, while the special heel construction offers additional grip when walking downhill.</p>
