<p>The Helixir 3L shell pants from La Sportiva were developed for demanding mountaineering, alpinism, ice and mixed climbing. The technical hard shell trousers combine their low weight with exceptional robustness and offer you reliable protection in challenging conditions in the high mountains. Thanks to their slim fit and cleverly designed construction, they are particularly comfortable on demanding ascents, climbing passages and descents.</p> <p>At the heart of the pants is the 3-layer construction with integrated Spectra® fiber. This is one of the lightest and most resistant high-performance fibers and significantly increases the abrasion, tear and durability of the material. The waterproof membrane with a water column of 20,000 mm provides reliable protection against precipitation and wind, while side ventilation zippers provide additional air circulation during strenuous sections. Pre-shaped knees and a gusseted construction allow unrestricted freedom of movement on steep terrain.</p> <p>The pants have adjustable leg cuffs with zippers, water-repellent covers and integrated inner gaiters for use with mountaineering and alpine touring boots. Additional reinforcements at the leg cuffs increase durability in rocky terrain and when used with crampons.</p>
