<p>The La Sportiva Karakorum HC GTX are very sturdy, reliable, protective and durable category C mountain boots, equipped with a sole compatible with combo crampons. For all classic alpine mountaineering and technically demanding trekking tours, this boot made of a single piece of leather is an ingenious companion.</p><p>The waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex® lining keeps feet dry in all weathers. The impressive concept has been implemented at the usual high standard of workmanship and subtly revised compared to its previous model. Fit and lacing ensure a firm fit and support very good control in the climbing situation. Despite good support, the wearing comfort is remarkable due to well thought-out details such as the kink zone at the front ankle joint area, the softly padded and flexible shaft end or the sole cushioning.</p><p>The Karakorum HC GTX's harmonious design should not lack a Vibram® outsole with a good grip on gravel, rock or short passages on snow and ice, nor should its edge-stable, sufficiently reinforced construction with a nylon insole.</p>
