<p>The Swift Protect Pro Dry 8.9mm climbing rope is a very special new development from the rope experts at Edelrid: it is the first dynamic rope with aramid in the cover. The cut resistance of the rope can thus be significantly improved - a real plus in safety for alpine terrain, where the rope sometimes runs over edges.</p><p>Otherwise, the Swift Protect Pro Dry brings the proven properties of the Swift Pro Dry climbing rope with it: it is certified as a single, half and twin rope and is characterized by minimal weight, small diameter and long service life.&nbsp;</p><p>Thanks to the Pro Dry finish, the rope is permanently water and dirt repellent. The Thermo Shield treatment gives the rope great handling, perfect for ambitious climbers who want to use their rope alone or as twin or half rope. However, it is not so suitable for indoor sessions or working on routes for a long time.</p><p>Thanks to the 3D lapcoiling technique, the rope can be simply pulled out of the packaging and used - no unwinding is necessary.</p>
