<p>ATK&rsquo;s Hy 13 Free model takes freeride bindings to the next level: as the lightest hybrid binding in its category, it combines performance on the descent with maximum comfort whilst walking. Weighing just 675 grams and featuring three precisely adjusted walking modes, it offers excellent support during long ascents and guarantees the alpine skiing experience you&rsquo;re familiar with on the descent.</p> <p>One of the advantages is the -18 mm mode, in which the heel sits slightly below the level of the front clamp. This innovative walking angle improves efficiency whilst walking, particularly on flat sections, which is a measurable advantage with freeride boots, where the shell angle is limited. Two additional modes to aid climbing (+10 mm and +42 mm) can be easily activated using a ski pole, allowing you to adapt flexibly to the terrain.</p> <p>In descent mode, the Hy 11 model impresses with a flat and direct connection to the skis. This results in direct power transfer, which significantly enhances the precision of manoeuvres and control. The heel lock system, inspired by the solution used in alpine skiing, guarantees an exceptional level of stability and safety on technically demanding slopes.</p> <p>The adjustable AFD (Anti-Friction Device) system, designed with an eye for detail, also ensures compatibility with different types of boot soles. More flexible spacers reduce vibrations and improve contact with the ski. The boot length adjustment within a 25 mm range and the flexible clearance at the heel and front clamp further enhance tolerance and durability under dynamic loads.</p> <p>From steep couloirs to long ascents: this binding is designed for tours that combine the thrill of freeriding with the functionality of ski touring.</p>
